RED has always been my wife’s favourite color. She had a beautiful collection of red glass, hundreds of unique pieces, displayed at our beach house. When we closed up the house, she gave almost all of it away, keeping just a few pieces. One piece was falling apart, two interlocked hearts made of wire with hundreds of lovely red glass beads braided around them. The wire holding the beads had rusted away. It took hours of labour to liberate all the beads. The work made them all the more precious to me. The first thing I made was a set of wedding crowns, then pendants, and sweet butterfly earrings. I still have a batch of the larger beads left, and a few small ones too, but when they’re gone, they’re gone. Order now to get your own little treasure from this trove!
